A.I. is such an overwhelmingly advanced concept by many definitions. To even begin to understand what it is requires a fair bit of knowledge of recent technological developments., and perhaps also a working knowledge of the filed as it has evolved over the last century. Worse than that really - being able to fully understand the implications of creating an intelligence that is in many ways greater than our own is simply beyond our intelligence's capabilities. Whatever you or I may think ... is likely to be wrong.

For those of you who can play chess ... I hope you realise that Deep Blue beating the world champion is ancient news now. Firstly, there are countless online chess 'engines' that can consistently beat any human player. Secondly, AlphaGo then beat one of the world's best Go players, which was considered a much harder feat, and rewrote 2000 years of Go theory in the process. Thirdly, AlphaZero recently was given 4 hours to teach itself to play chess without being trained by humans and given the benefit of all our insights into the game. It then played a match against the strongest chess computer program and beat it 25 -0 with 75 draws. Quite a few of Alphazero's wins were astonishing. Sort of like watching an Aikido master lead his attacker in a dance that ended up twisting him into a knot on the floor and holding him down till he admits defeat. This ability solve extremely difficult problems without being taught and using methods we dont fully understand is now being applied to many other problems, and the whole field is advancing rapidly (perhaps even exponentially). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wujy7OzvdJk&t=464s

IMHO: Until they can assign the same type of consciousness that we hold, AI is a tool like your phone may be to you currently. Unfortunately, tools can be used to fix things or beat someone over the head and kill them. We must continue to raise the consciousness of everyone on the planet by focusing on our selves first. Heal me - Heal others. With a raised vibration, we will not seek to use AI or anything for that matter toward devious endeavors.

I discovered using "write article" gets your post on the "new" page. No clue how to get page on "trending".

Okay thanks everyone. I guess I should have fiured out that Articles are what shows on the New Posts page, (although one might be forgiven for thinking that new profile posts might show up there.) Also I presume Trending is entirely a question of upvotes and downvotes. (Which it seems to me cannot be done from within the post's page but only from the page of posts). I still think a manual for content creators would be a good idea !

The way the trending page works... wont popular posts continue to get more exposure and therefore get more upvotes and remain popular ? Does the whitepaper explain how this works ?
