Nogami speculated that New Horizon's lesser than anticipated youth demographic could be because New Horizons hasn't yet been available during crucial holiday periods.

"Since it hasn't been a year since it was released, it has not been possible for most children to purchase it, but for the moment it is a game with a consumer set that is likely different from the expectations," he explained.

I will move a little off the rails here, and wonder if that threw them for a major loop. Kids (can be) more adapting and they surely have a much smaller voice in regards to feedback.

Basically, will they attempt to appease their elderly crowd (who showed up in droves) or even try to change to game to make it less attractive to adults and more (or only) appealing to children?

For me personally it is not even that, it's that the next onwards profiles have limited skills. That fuckin blows and stop me from becoming the match. Otherwise I would've loved to discuss an island with my little sister.

It is not ideal, but it actually does not hamstring you like you think/people say.

Personally, I enjoy sharing the island with my wife and daughter. I definitely understand wanting one to yourself too. As always, more flexibility and options are constantly better.

Yeah, if both players were equal owners and may"advance" the island evenly, it'd be OK. I have it and my daughter is your island owner so there is really nothing I could do unless she goes and does exactly the quests. It's pretty stupid how they have it setup.

And he's tackling a specific point made in the report. Does he need to explore every single topic prior to making a remark?

This is clearly not a game designed toward the majority of people on this sub. I don't really understand all of the cheap Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells hating given many people here didn't play with the old ones or clearly have an interest in a game that isn't Animal Crossing.
